What is Fungal Foot Infections?

The most common foot infection is Athlete’s Foot. It causes itching, burning, pain, and scaling. Athlete’s Foot is caused by a fungus and is treated with antifungal medications, many of which are available over-the-counter. Keeping your feet dry and wearing using cotton socks and wearing breathable shoes helps prevent athlete’s foot.

  • Reddened, cracked, and peeling skin
  • Some bleeding if irritated
  • Itching
  • Burning
  • Stinging sensation
  • Development of small blisters
